IJ-Lamp is selected as one of the nominees for the DOEN | Materiaalprijs 2011!The selected works will be presented in an exhibition during the international event Dutch Design Week, held from 22 to 30 October 2011 in Eindhoven. The location is the Van Abbemuseum. The chosen designs will first be displayed in the Designhuis in Eindhoven where an expert jury will select the winners. The DOEN | Materiaalprijs was created to promote sustainable design practice where the core values of innovation and sustainability go hand in hand with style and functionality. This annual prize intends to mobilise everyone at the cutting edge of art and design to devise new ways and means of designing for a sustainable future.
